A very good point was brought up about my riding during the PMBI Level II course in Whistler in September. I mentioned that at lower speeds on easier trails, my body positioning in corners and difficult sections of trails was really good, but when the speed increased, I tightened up. These are some things that we came up with that might help me loosen up while going fast.
Working on:
Increased range of movement on bike at higher speeds.
Better position for cornering and other movements.
Location:
Almost Anywhere!
How:
Doing little manuels or pumps on easier sections of higher speed trails-Fore/Aft bike movement
Loosening grip
Goofing around/having fun on the sides of trails. Get loose!
