Today we went biking around ACU campus. We found out that we didn’t tighten up my bike enough and the back while go messed up. We quickly fixed that and started riding again. We took some pics at Jacobs Dream. Here they are.

Two minutes ago I did a science experiment with fire and water. I put a little bit of water in a bowl and put in a candle. I lit the candle and put the jar over the candle. The water got sucked in to the jar and the candle went out. Why? Fire needs oxygen to burn so the fire was taking up all the air in the jar. The water got pushed, not sucked, into the jar because the all the air was gone in the jar and the outside air pressure was stronger. Wait……That was more that two minutes ago now. Yesterday it arrived!!!!! My new G&P M4 Defender. It is great!!!! We shot it yesterday and the ROF was really high. It only shoots around 350 but I don’t need that much FPS because I have a sniper rifle that shoots 550 FPS It is full metal and is really heavy. Here are some pics.
Last night we went to the Skillet concert…… All I can say is LOUD!!!!! Caleb already listed all the bands so I don’t need to do that. The music was amazing and it sounded really GREAT. They had a violinist and a celloist playing with them so it kinda had the classical sound but it was Rock Music.
We went to the Denver Museum. The part I liked most was the space section. They had all kinds of things about all the planets and stars. There was a movie about black holes, and how they are made. It was in one of those rooms where the screen is up on the roof and all over the walls. There was a health thing where you have a card and put it into a hole and there was a program of your heart rate and what you will look like when you are 70 (We took a pic of me…… I look freaky!!!) There was a mind game where there was a metal ball the you strapped something to your head the read your brainwaves and you had to be calm and whoever can get the ball to the other side….. WINS!!!! (I won twice and Caleb won once.) There was a bug section where they had lots of dead bugs pinned to a wall. There were some pretty butterfly’s. There was a school tour so there were lots of people. When we were in Denver we went to a mint. No, that’s not where they make candy, it’s where people make coins. They make all different kinds of American coins. There were a lot of security guards there because they had gold somewhere in the building. What was even crazier was that the police station was right across the road. If someone tried to break in, they’d get JAILED!!!! We were given coins that only 1000 were made. That may sound like a lot but they were never touched by human hands and they gave them out to everybody who came on a tour. Even the little kid who are going to rip open the wrapper and probably lose the coin. 😀 We saw how the coins were made and what materials they used. On the way out there was a hallway that was made a long time ago. It was a replica of a church in Italy. The roof was painted and all the floors were never replaced.
I’ve learned in doing research on a bike you have to look at a bunch of different sites to find what you want.
There is an STP 1, 2, ss and 0. The 0 has the best parts of the three and has hydrological breaks, where the other bike just have mechanical. There is a P1, P2, P3, P2 cromo and Pgrom. The P3 has the right angles for what we will be doing. I want the P3 over the STP 0 because the P3 has better parts, fork, and rims and has a better feel. But the STP 0 is much cheaper. I rode a STP 2 and it didn’t feel as good as a P3. I would like a P3 but an upgraded STP 0 will work.
We are looking at used ones also. The P3 are $1,650 new and they can range between $500 and $1,000 used depending on the shape they’re in. $1,650 is a lot for a dirt jump bike so we are starting to look more at used STP’s. I won’t make a decision without riding the bike first. If it doesn’t feel good then I won’t want to ride it all the time.
He he. I like that word “dohickies” (Doo Hick Ee’s) Anyways…. I’m doing the same thing as Caleb (Cae Lub) wrote. First I put stripped some copper wire and connected it to a 9V battery. I did that with both wires. Next, well actually first I mixed some baking soda in water. I put the wires in the water and it turned green and bubbled alot. The only wire that turned green was the wire on the positive side. Only two more posts……:)
Yea, you heard it. I doing another airsoft video about the new……..No I’m not going to tell you. It’s not a new gun. I can tell you that much.
Now the airsoft story. Yes I went to airsoft again this week and Caleb and dad did not come. I have no idea why. They said it was going to rain but it didn’t. The first game went by really quickly. I was behind a truck trying to snipe some people but I couldn’t see through the trees so I moved up to a gate. Just as i did Steve came up and shot me in the cheek. The second game we lost I got shot in the head (from Steve again) but the third game was interesting. Two facts: Sitting on cactus and shot in the eye. The last game it took more than an hour to locate anyone on the other team. While we were trying to find them I sat or crouched on a cactus. Once we found them we got in a fire fight and just as i was about to take someone out the guy behind me (using dads G36) dropped the gun and his glasses and held his hand over his eye. He had been shot in the eye. Well, that ended the last game and there were still two people that didn’t know about the shooting. (Lenbo and Steve) They came right behind a new guy and I and shot the new guy. He yelled out that Justen had been shot in the eye and that ended the airsoft day. I didn’t shoot anybody but it was one of the best times i have had.
Today I tried the straw and Berrie Jam that I made. And it was…………..GREAT!!!!!
But I put in to much sugar.
