Two minutes ago I did a science experiment with fire and water. I put a little bit of water in a bowl and put in a candle. I lit the candle and put the jar over the candle. The water got sucked in to the jar and the candle went out. Why? Fire needs oxygen to burn so the fire was taking up all the air in the jar. The water got pushed, not sucked, into the jar because the all the air was gone in the jar and the outside air pressure was stronger. Wait……That was more that two minutes ago now.
