I have a new addiction. Getting high. heh heh Here are some pics of the tramp bike. More to come as we take em.
We are going to build some dirt jumps and stunts in our back yard. We are working on getting dirt and wood. Caleb and I are planning it out on paper. We’ll build it in the winter because it is to hot in the summer. I can’t wait to start building. It will be soooooo fun.
This summer we went biking in Winter Park, Sol Vista, and Keystone. I think Winter Park was the best because most of the runs were fast. Some had jumps but they weren’t very big. Sol Vista. The one word I can use to describe this mountain? Crazy. The smallest gap was at LEAST 25 feet. There was a few fun runs with lots of berms. Keystone was the biggest mountain of all and it was just rocky and technical. It wasn’t as bad a Fernie, but it came pretty close. I had fun at all of them but Winter Park was my favorite. Plus, I got to see them build the course for Crankworx Colorado.
Here is a video I made. Make sure to watch it in HD.

Yesterday we drove 45 minutes to Angel Fire Resort to go Downhill biking. The first trail we did was a blue (I know, blame dad) It was pretty fun and had a few ladders a not that many jumps. There was only one real drop and it was only 4 feet. But there were quite a few jumps and most of them weren’t very good. But that’s ok. It’s our first day riding for more that a year. The black runs were pretty hard up at the top. Dad didn’t have very much fun (so he says) but they weren’t as bad a some runs at Fernie. To end the day, we found the perfect combination of runs and Caleb’s bike broke down.
These are the places we are going to go biking for the summer. They are all around the same area about 1 hour from Denver. It has been a long time since I was on my down hill bike.
Winter Park
The people at the bike shops that I called said that Winter Park had smooth runs. Maybe we will save this one for last when dad is high on advil
Sulvista has hard short runs. I think we might have to do this one middle.
Keystone has hard long runs so I think we should do this one first.
Ahhh…. The first mosquito bite of the year. One that stays for a week and is the most itchy. I got it yesterday at airsoft. We are planning to go to Colorado to go biking for the summer. I can’t wait. We are going to go to different places and the one we think is the best we will spend more time there.
